Kamala - Dasa Mahavidya series
Kamala is the tenth & last Mahavidya. Though having similar aspects of Devi Lakshmi, Kamala is not a form of Lakshmi. She's considered to be an incarnation of Devi Parvati. She represents the soumya aspect of divine mother. She bestows her devotees with prosperity, riches, good luck & fertility. Kamala is portrayed as a beautiful maiden wearing lavish garments & jewellery. She's seated on a lotus seat in an ocean, accompanied by four elephants who are seen giving Abhishek to the goddess. Kamala holds two lotuses in her upper hands while her lower hands are in Abhaya & Varada mudra. Her consort is Lord Kamal.
